A planned autonomous vision-guided kinetic interceptor — being designed to see the drone that has no RF link, chase it at closing speeds above 250 km/h, and end the engagement in seconds. Our engineering answer to fibre-optic FPV. Concept & simulation phase.
Cued by HARAS. Vertical launch from a compact deck, motors to full RPM in under two seconds.
TARGET · 0 → 100 KM/H IN 1.8 sFly to the RASAD-provided bearing at maximum efficiency. Onboard vision system spins up in parallel.
TARGET · CRUISE 180 KM/HOnboard AI acquires target visually. GNSS-independent tracking. Threat cannot break lock by killing its RF link.
TARGET · < 80 m ACQUIRE-RANGEHuman-authorised engagement. Kinetic package deployed with millisecond timing. Airframe self-recovers or safes.
TARGET · SUB-METRE MISS-DISTANCEDesign goal: fully-autonomous onboard target tracking. The fibre-optic FPV that cannot be jammed is the same fibre-optic FPV that SAQR can see and chase, with no link required.
Design goal: closing speeds above 250 km/h against typical quadcopter threats, with terminal manoeuvre agility engineered to compensate for evasive prey.
Design goal: modular terminal package — soft-net or hard-kinetic — matched to environment. No fragmentation over civilian areas. Sub-metre miss-distance is the design target.
Design goal: cooperative swarm behaviour cued by HARAS — N interceptors, N threats, no collisions, no double-engagement. For future encrypted-swarm attacks.
SAQR is in concept & simulation phase. Every value below is a design target — no flight testing has yet been performed.

Cannot be jammed. Cannot be spoofed. But can be seen — and that is exactly what SAQR is being engineered to do.
Where soft-kill fails against distributed protocols, kinetic answers with N-vs-N cooperative engagement, cued in real time by HARAS.
The whole engagement can be run without a downlink to the interceptor — designed for the EW-contested battlespace.
SAQR is being designed as a HARAS-cued effector, not an autonomous weapon. Every launch requires operator authority; every engagement requires operator confirmation; every trajectory, every image, and every kill decision is logged and cryptographically signed for post-incident review. The interceptor's onboard AI handles pursuit — the human handles intent.
